Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship- I am so blessed to be able to share my first year in Grantchester with so many wonderful people.
- Welcome to another season of "Grantchester".
(all laughing) This is the gift that keeps on giving.
- [Speaker] It does.
- All those characters you know and love are still here.
Mrs. C, we got Jack, stuff going on with Leonard, Kathy.
- This is the final straw.
- [Rishi] She's having problems as well.
- Lots going on.
- Let's not forget the main man, Dickens.
- [Robson] Oh yeah, he's back.
- Yeah, and do you know what?
- It's the best yet.
- I didn't think I'd be here for two years, let alone 10.
It's crazy.
Very grateful to be working with this group of people.
Isn't it wonderful?
- It is wonderful.
- [Robson] We start, we've gotta get all those characters together and introduce where they are in the world.
- Like Friday night in the cells.
- [Rishi] Jordy has this nickname for Alfie.
- The good reverend, love him and leave him.
- Which implies that Alfie has been playing the field a little bit.
- He's worried that he's not capable of love.
- I wanna find someone, like you found Kathy.
- I've done it.
- Done what?
- The two women are actually gonna be doing something together.
- It's lovely that they have this friendship.
- It is such fun, because we are chums out of this environment.
So it's really nice when we are now actually not just off stage, as it were, but on set.
Hee hee hee!
- Oh!
- It is the worst kept secret in the station.
- Everyone knows.
- Even the criminals.
- You are the romantic one in the relationship, aren't you?
- Yeah, I think-- - But Ms. Scott is not leaving notes for you.
- No.
Thank you, Ms. Scott.
Oh wait.
- Larry!
- There's so much fun to be had in that.
- What's amazing about series 10 for Alfie is we see him really go on a journey.
- What a tonny it is to see you.
- A lot of secrets come out.
He has to face his past and having to face things that he hoped he never would have to face again.
And we see his relationship with Jordy tested.
- What is this?
- So yeah, a real rollercoaster for Alfie, but a fun one to film.
